National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji affirmed on Thursday that Iraq continues to work with neighboring countries to establish an environment based on understanding, cooperation, and respect for sovereignty.
Al-Araji said in a post on the X platform, monitored by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “Iraq believes that de-escalation, dialogue, and constructive partnership represent the most effective path to preserving common interests and enhancing opportunities for progress in the region.”
“Based on its regional position and role, Iraq continues to work with its brothers in the Arab and Gulf states, as well as neighboring countries, to establish an environment based on understanding, cooperation, and respect for sovereignty,” he added.
“Iraq also places the development of its cybersecurity capabilities and the protection of its vital infrastructure among its national priorities, in line with a comprehensive vision aimed at strengthening national resilience and contributing to building a more stable, balanced, and prosperous regional environment,” he continued.
