Iran’s Foreign Ministry said on Thursday that U.S. attacks against targets inside Iranian territory constitute a violation that renders any ceasefire “meaningless.”
According to Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi, the U.S. strikes against targets on Iranian soil represent clear evidence of aggression against Iran’s sovereignty.
He stated that such actions amount to a violation that makes a ceasefire devoid of meaning, arguing that the attacks undermine efforts to maintain or uphold any truce.
Gharibabadi further described Iran’s military actions as acts of self-defense, asserting that they carry no adverse legal consequences under international law.
