Al-Ghazi: The government has given great attention to Hajj and Umrah

The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Hamid al-Ghazi, affirmed today, Thursday, that the government has given great attention to the Hajj and Umrah file, recognizing the importance of this blessed ritual.

Al-Ghazi said in a press conference held by the Hajj and Umrah Authority to celebrate winning the “Labaytim” award for the fourth consecutive time, which was attended by a correspondent from the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The government has given great attention to the Hajj and Umrah file, recognizing the importance of this blessed ritual, and has sought to dedicate the necessary resources to provide the best conditions for our pilgrims.”

He pointed out that “this achievement would not have been possible without the close and constructive cooperation with the relevant authorities in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is making great and commendable efforts in serving the guests of God.”

He added, “We remember with great respect the great efforts made by the staff of the Iraqi Hajj mission.” He pointed out that "the government of Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi is continuing to support all efforts aimed at developing institutional performance and enhancing the quality of services provided to citizens in various sectors."
