Iran’s armed forces are in a state of full readiness and any act of aggression will be met with an immediate Iranian response, the Tasnim news agency reported on Wednesday.
Citing a military source, the agency said: “We proved to the Americans last night that any new adventure or miscalculation will be met with an immediate response from Iran,” adding that Iranian armed forces remain on high alert and would respond strongly to any further hostile action by the United States.
The source added that Iran would target new interests of the “terrorist regime” if the United States take any aggressive steps, saying the U.S. assumption of controlled escalation and maintaining initiative was “naive,” and that Tehran would not hesitate to impose new equations and calculations on Washington.
