Oil prices edged higher on Wednesday following U.S. strikes on Iran, the Financial Times reported.

Citing sources, the newspaper said oil prices rose slightly to $92.30 per barrel after the U.S. attacks on Iran.

Earlier, United States Central Command announced that it had begun carrying out strikes against Iran.
