U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that the Apache helicopter incident was not serious and that the pilot was safe.
The Wall Street Journal quoted Trump as saying that "the Apache helicopter incident is not a serious matter and the pilot is fine."
Trump added that sanctions were making Iran "very poor" and would remain in place for as long as necessary.
