The head of the Iraqi Media Network, Karim Hammadi, met with the head of the Executive Authority of the Media and Communications Commission, Baligh Abu Kalal, on Tuesday to discuss mechanisms for joint coordination aimed at improving media performance in accordance with legal frameworks and established professional standards.
The meeting took place during Hammadi’s visit to the Media and Communications Commission, where he met with Abu Kalal to discuss ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two institutions.
Hammadi and Abu Kalal reviewed aspects of institutional cooperation to strengthen integration between the two sides in areas of mutual interest, develop media work, and reinforce professional performance.
The meeting also addressed ways to support the Iraqi Media Network in the technical and organizational fields, while discussing mechanisms for joint coordination to improve media performance in line with legal frameworks and established professional standards.
The two sides agreed to proceed with preparing and signing a memorandum of understanding aimed at regulating cooperation and coordination between the two institutions, contributing to the achievement of common goals and serving the public interest.
