US Energy Secretary Chris Wright revealed on Tuesday that shipping traffic through the Strait of Hormuz is increasing significantly.
"Ship traffic through the Strait of Hormuz is increasing significantly," Wright stated in a press conference.
"Iran is a critical issue that we are currently addressing and will continue to address, and America is in a position to do so," he added, stating, "We see a very bright and abundant energy future in the coming years and decades."
"US oil exports have increased significantly in recent months," he continued.
