The Iraqi Drilling Company announced on Sunday the completion of rehabilitation operations on oil well WQ1-146 at the West Qurna Oil Field (West Qurna 1).
In a statement, the company said its technical and engineering teams completed the rehabilitation works using the IDC32 workover rig operated by PetroChina.
It added that the achievement forms part of ongoing efforts to support production plans in the oil sector through the execution of drilling and rehabilitation operations with high efficiency and in line with approved technical standards.
The company said the work reflects its accumulated expertise and operational capability in Iraqi oil fields, contributing to the enhancement of national production and support for the country’s economy.
