Speaker of Parliament Haibat al-Halbousi met on Saturday with the British Ambassador to Iraq, Irfan Siddiq, to discuss the latest regional and international developments.
The Speaker's media office stated in a press release received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "Speaker of Parliament Haibat al-Halbousi received the British Ambassador to Iraq, Irfan Siddiq."
The statement added that "the meeting addressed bilateral relations between the two countries, in addition to discussing the latest regional and international developments, and a number of issues of common interest."
