Centcom says Iran fired seven missiles towards Kuwait and Bahrain
US Central Command (Centcom) said Iran launched seven ballistic missiles towards Kuwait and Bahrain just hours after US forces shot down Iranian attack drones headed towards the Strait of Hormuz and carried out strikes on Iranian radar installations.
According to Centcom, six of the missiles were intercepted while a seventh failed to reach its intended target.
The command said there were no reports of injuries among US personnel and rejected Iranian claims that the headquarters of the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain had been damaged, describing those assertions as false.
