The White House announced on Friday that it has granted visas to the Iranian players participating in the World Cup.
"We have granted visas to the Iranian players participating in the World Cup," said the White House in a statement, followed up by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
Reuters quoted a White House official as saying: "The Iranian players participating in the World Cup have received visas to enter the United States."
