Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi affirmed that his country's armed forces are conducting defensive strikes and will respond decisively to any hostile act.
"Our armed forces are conducting defensive strikes against sites that the United States is permitted to use to attack civilian vessels and violate the ceasefire," Araghchi stated, in a post on X.
He added, "Any hostile act will be met with an immediate and decisive response. What sanctions and war failed to achieve will not be achieved through further war."
