The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) announced on Monday the launch of the media campaign for the twelfth anniversary of the founding of the organization.
A statement issued by the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that " PMF announced the launch of the media campaign for the twelfth anniversary of the founding of the PMF, and the anniversary of the launch of the blessed fatwa issued by the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Husseini al-Sistani (may his shadow be extended), which constituted the historical turning point in confronting terrorism and defending Iraq and its holy sites."
It added, “The campaign includes the dissemination of various media materials related to this great occasion, from documentaries and short films to artistic and cinematic interludes, and the re-broadcasting of footage from the major liberation battles, as well as the publication of the photographic archive of the heroes of the Popular Mobilization Forces, the martyrs and the mujahideen, in addition to broad public and popular activities that embody loyalty to the sacrifices of the heroes and the greatness of this national and ideological occasion.”
PMF continued: “We proudly recall the heroic and self-sacrificing stances taken by the sons of the Popular Mobilization Forces,” calling on the Popular Mobilization Forces and all the sons of the Iraqi people to “actively contribute to the success of this campaign by republishing, promoting and interacting with the media materials related to the occasion; in loyalty to the blood of the martyrs, in preservation of the memory of victory, and in renewal of the covenant with the path of sacrifice and dignity.”
