The Ministry of Interior announced on Saturday the success of the security and service plan for Eid al-Adha.
The ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that it announces the success of the security and service plan for Eid al-Adha, which was implemented under the directives of the Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and supervised by the Senior Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, with the participation of all security and service agencies and supporting entities.
It added that "the plan was distinguished this year as one of the most successful plans, as it relied on intelligence efforts, organization, and high professionalism, away from manifestations of militarization in cities, which contributed to providing a safe and comfortable atmosphere for citizens and ensuring a high degree of smooth movement and transportation."
The ministry noted that "the country witnessed noticeable security stability and the lowest rate of traffic accidents in years, in addition to the absence of fire incidents, as well as market stability and the success of the traffic management plan across various provinces."
The Ministry of Interior extended its thanks and appreciation to the Prime Minister and the Iraqi government, all security and service agencies and supporting entities, national media outlets, as well as citizens whose cooperation played a major role in the success of this plan.
