Head of the National State Forces Alliance, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim, and Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, Hadi Al-Amiri, stressed on Saturday the importance of strengthening the unity of the Coordination Framework and proceeding with the enactment of legislation.
According to a statement issued by the media office of the National State Forces Alliance and received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), “Ammar Al-Hakim received Badr Organization Secretary-General Hadi Al-Amiri, and the two sides discussed completing the ministerial cabinet and supporting the government of Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi in carrying out its reform, service, and anti-corruption agenda.”
Sayyid Al-Hakim emphasized, according to the statement, “the need to strengthen the unity of the Coordination Framework and move forward with passing laws that serve citizens and respond to their needs amid the current economic circumstances, in a manner that reinforces the country’s constitutional institutions.”
The statement added that the meeting also addressed regional developments, with both sides expressing hope that the ongoing dialogues would lead to an end to the conflict and the restoration of stability in the region.
