Iran's Mehr News Agency reported on Friday that air defenses have been activated on Iran's Qeshm Island.
The agency stated, "Air defenses have been activated on Iran's Qeshm Island."
Earlier on Friday, the Iranian Foreign Ministry confirmed that "the exchange of messages with the United States is ongoing and the memorandum of understanding has not yet been finalized."
