US President Donald Trump expressed his belief on Wednesday that talks with Iran are progressing in the right direction.
In a press statement, Trump said he would give Iran a brief opportunity at the request of the Pakistani Prime Minister and Army Chief.
“The framework agreement with Iran includes the immediate reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, clarifying that he would not accept a less-than-perfect agreement with Iran,” he added.
He affirmed that “a good deal with Iran was possible at the moment, but perhaps not a great one,” indicating that “an understanding had been reached with Iran.”
