The Iranian Foreign Ministry announced on Tuesday that Tehran will respond to any threat targeting the Iranian people in the strongest possible way, while simultaneously affirming its commitment to diplomatic solutions and warning the United States against committing another strategic mistake.
In a statement, the Iranian Foreign Ministry said that "American acts of aggression constitute a blatant violation of Article 2 of the UN Charter," holding "Washington fully responsible for all the consequences of these hostile actions."
The statement added: "We will not allow any attack on our national security to go without respond."
