The Lebanese National News Agency reported on Sunday that (Israeli) warplanes continued their escalation of attacks on Nabatieh and its surrounding area, resulting in the deaths of three people and widespread damage to residential buildings.
The agency stated that an (Israeli) drone targeted a motorcycle in the town of Abba, this led to martyrdom a young Syrian man who was driving it. Another airstrike was carried out on the outskirts of the town, in the direction of Adshit.
It added that the city of Nabatieh was subjected to two separate airstrikes by (Israeli) warplanes. The first strike targeted a building near Nabih Berri Boulevard, adjacent to the Al-Amana gas station, destroying it. This was followed by a series of airstrikes targeting the Ali Taher on the outskirts of Upper Nabatieh.
The agency continued, saying that in the town of Jebchit, an (Israeli) drone strike killed Yasser Bahja, while the town of Zawtar al-Sharqiya was targeted by an airstrike.
"The (Israeli) air force also launched a series of airstrikes using warplanes and drones on the town of Arab Salim, where paramedic Ali Hammoud of the Islamic Health Authority was martyred after a Civil Defense team from the Islamic Health Authority was targeted while inspecting the site of an airstrike in the town."
It added, "In the same context, the town of Yahmar al-Shaqif was subjected to an airstrike at approximately 3:30 PM, coinciding with artillery shelling that targeted the towns of Kfar Tebnit and Kfar Rumman."
