The Supreme Judicial Council SJC congratulated the completion of forming the legislative and executive authorities in accordance with the Constitution.
The Judicial Council stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Supreme Judicial Council held its fifth session, chaired by the President of the Federal Cassation Court, Judge Faiq Zidan, during which a number of judges and members of the Public Prosecution were promoted."
The statement added, "The Council congratulated the completion of forming the legislative and executive authorities in accordance with the Constitution."
It further continued, "On this occasion, the Council extended its thanks and appreciation to the judges of the Cassation Panel specialized in reviewing appeals against the decisions of the Accountability and Justice Commission, the judges of the Judicial Panel specialized in reviewing appeals against the decisions of the Board of Commissioners of the Electoral Commission, and the judges of the Federal Supreme Court for their great efforts, which played a decisive role in achieving this important democratic milestone."
