Turkish counterterrorism police have arrested 110 people suspected of supporting ISIS in a large-scale operation carried out mainly in Istanbul, according to the state-run Anadolu Agency.

The report said the operation was conducted in coordination with the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office. Suspects were accused of organizing lessons through illegal associations, indoctrinating young children with the ideology of the “Islamic State,” collecting funds for the group, and attempting to recruit new members.

The arrests were made during simultaneous raids across three provinces, most of them in Istanbul, where police also seized weapons, documents, and digital materials.

The crackdown comes a week after Turkish authorities arrested 324 people in raids targeting suspected members of the same groups across 47 provinces, the Interior Ministry said.
