President Nizar Amidi emphasized on Wednesday the need to provide opportunities for young people to actively contribute to serving the country.
The Presidential Media Office stated in a press release received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "President Nizar Amidi received at the Peace Palace in Baghdad the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ari Kamal Mustafa, and his accompanying delegation, who offered their congratulations on his assumption of the presidency."
It added that "the meeting addressed the current state of the youth and sports sectors and mechanisms for supporting youth programs and developing sports institutions," emphasizing "the importance of strengthening the role of youth in the national development and nation-building process."
The President also noted "the necessity of providing the means to enable young people to actively contribute to serving the country," praising "the Ministry's efforts in supporting youth and sports activities and initiatives."
