Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi and the head of al-Hikma National Movement, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, emphasized on Tuesday the necessity of concerted efforts by political forces to complete the formation of the government.
The Prime Minister's Media Office stated in a press release received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi received the head of the al-Hikma National Movement, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, on Tuesday and congratulated him on the formation of the government and its gaining the confidence of the Council of Representatives."
"The meeting addressed the general situation in the country and emphasized the importance of integrated work based on a shared vision to enhance security and stability and confront challenges in all areas," according to the statement.
Both sides stressed the need for concerted efforts by political forces to complete the formation of the government and support the government in implementing its program in a way that achieves the country's best interests.
