President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, discussed on Tuesday with Minister of Water Resources Muthanna Al-Tamimi measures to activate the removal of encroachments on water networks.
In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the Supreme Judicial Council said that Zaidan received Al-Tamimi earlier today.
The statement added that the Chief Justice congratulated the minister on assuming his new position, wishing him success in carrying out his duties.
It further noted that the two sides discussed activating procedures to remove encroachments on water networks and supporting the ministry’s efforts to preserve water security.
