Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi met today, Sunday, with the Head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri Kamel Al-Maliki, who extended his congratulations on the government’s successful confidence vote in the Council of Representatives.
“The meeting addressed the overall situation in the country and the importance of unifying positions and visions to support the government in implementing its program and plans to achieve its economic, development, and service objectives,” stated the Media Office of the Prime Minister in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency-INA.
The meeting also affirmed the need for concerted efforts among national political forces to complete the cabinet formation and enable the government to fulfill its role in meeting current challenges and safeguarding the interests of Iraq and its people.
