The Commander of the Iraqi Ground Forces, Lieutenant General Qassim Mohammed Saleh Al-Muhammadi, discussed with the Italian military attaché in Iraq, Colonel Domenico Sermon, and cooperation in the field of military training.
A statement by the Iraqi Army General Staff, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said that “the Commander of the Ground Forces, Lieutenant General Qassim Mohammed Saleh Al-Muhammadi, met today, Saturday, with the Italian military attaché in Iraq (Colonel Domenico Sermon) and his accompanying delegation at the command headquarters, where the meeting addressed discussions on aspects of joint cooperation and coordination in the field of training, in addition to providing advice and exchanging expertise within the framework of supporting efforts aimed at developing the capabilities of the Iraqi Army.”
It added that “the Italian military attaché also extended congratulations to the Commander of the Ground Forces on the 21st anniversary of the establishment of the Ground Forces Command.”
