Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi and Lebanese President Joseph Aoun emphasized the importance of maintaining coordination and joint cooperation during a phone call on Friday.
The Prime Minister's Media Office stated in a press release received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi received a phone call from Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, who congratulated him and his government on receiving the vote of confidence in Parliament," wishing the Prime Minister "success in his duties."
"The call addressed strengthening bilateral relations and emphasized the importance of maintaining coordination and joint cooperation in various fields in a way that contributes to achieving the best interests of the two brotherly countries," the statement added.
