The commissioner of the Federal Commission of Integrity –FCOI Dr. Mohammed Ali al-Lami on Friday extended his congratulations to the Prime Minister and members of the government on winning the confidence of the Council of Representatives and assuming executive responsibility in the current phase.
Al-Lami said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that “the formation of the government gaining this confidence amid the complex circumstances and challenges facing the region reflects faith in the national approach and the government team’s ability to lead the country towards stability.”
He added that this represents a deserved outcome of a firm determination and commitment to the national interest, stressing that the government is capable of establishing the foundations of reform and safeguarding state resources.
FCOI Commissioner reaffirmed the body’s commitment to supporting the government programme, particularly in anti-corruption efforts and strengthening integrity values across state institutions.
He noted that coordination between the executive authority and oversight bodies under the rule of law is the best path towards building a state of institutions, calling for enhanced cooperation to achieve reform objectives.
