Health Minister Abdul Hussein Al-Mousawi and his Egyptian counterpart Khaled Abdel Ghaffar on Thursday discussed bilateral cooperation in medical, health and training fields.
The Ministry of Health said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that Al-Mousawi received a phone call from Abdel Ghaffar, who extended congratulations on the minister’s parliamentary approval and assumption of duties as Iraq’s health minister.
The call also reviewed a number of issues of mutual interest and ways to strengthen coordination and cooperation in medical, health and training sectors, in addition to emphasizing the importance of continued communication and exchange of expertise to enhance health partnership between Iraq and the Arab Republic of Egypt.
