Iraqi Ambassador Presents Credentials to Morocco’s King Mohammed VI

Iraqi Ambassador Haider Shiaa Al-Barak presented his credentials to King Mohammed VI as Iraq’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco on Thursday.

The Iraqi Embassy in Morocco said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that Al-Barak formally presented his credentials as the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Kingdom of Morocco during an official ceremony held at the Royal Palace in the capital, Rabat.

During the ceremony, the ambassador conveyed greetings from the President of Iraq and the Prime Minister to the Moroccan monarch, expressing his pride in representing Iraq in Rabat and his commitment to strengthening long-standing fraternal relations between the two countries and expanding cooperation in various fields to serve mutual interests.

King Mohammed VI welcomed the ambassador and wished him success in his duties, expressing hope that his mission would contribute to strengthening bilateral ties between Baghdad and Rabat.

The ceremony was attended by Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita.
