The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faik Zaidan, received today, Thursday, the Head of the Iraqi Media Network, Abdul Karim Hammadi, while affirming the adoption of an objective media discourse that serves the public interest.
The judicial media stated in a press release received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faik Zaidan, received the Head of the Iraqi Media Network, Abdul Karim Hammadi."
During the meeting, according to the statement, Judge Zaidan emphasized "the importance of protecting the constitutionally guaranteed freedom of expression of opinion, and adopting an objective media discourse that serves the public interest."
The statement added that "the Head of the Iraqi Media Network presented a gift to the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, consisting of three volumes of the 'Illustrated Encyclopedia of Iraq,' which is a massive documentary and visual project launched by the Network to archive Iraq's cultural and historical heritage."
