The Taqaddum parliamentary bloc announced on Wednesday the nomination of Mohammed Nouri al-Karbouli for the post of minister of industry and Abdul Karim Abtan for the post of minister of education.
The bloc said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that it extends its sincere congratulations to Al-Karbouli on his nomination as minister of industry and to Sheikh Abdul Karim Abtan on his nomination as minister of education, wishing them success in carrying out their duties in a way that contributes to serving the country and advancing reconstruction and development efforts.
Parliament has set Thursday as the date for voting on the government program and cabinet lineup.
