President Nizar Amidi and the head of the Supreme Islamic Council, Sheikh Humam Hamoudi, emphasized on Tuesday the necessity of expediting the formation of the new government within the constitutional timeframe.
A statement from the Presidency, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), indicated that "President Nizar Amidi met with the head of the Supreme Islamic Council, Sheikh Humam Hamoudi, in Baghdad."
"During the meeting, they discussed the general situation in the country, joint efforts among political forces to consolidate security and stability, and the need to expedite the formation of the new government within the constitutional timeframe. This ensures the implementation of a government program that responds to national priorities, meets basic entitlements, and contributes to raising the standard of living and services for citizens.
