Speaker of Parliament Haibat al-Halbousi and President Nizar Amidi emphasized today, Monday, the importance of cooperation and coordination among political forces to expedite the formation of the government.
The Speaker's Media Office stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): that "Speaker of Parliament Haibat al-Halbousi received President Nizar Amidi today, Monday."
"During the meeting, they discussed the latest political developments in the country and the issue of forming the new government. Emphasis was placed on the importance of cooperation and coordination among political forces to expedite the fulfillment of the constitutional requirements within the established timeframe, ensuring the formation of a government capable of addressing the challenges and responding to the demands of the current phase."
According to the statement "The Speaker of Parliament reiterates the Parliament's readiness to set a date for the anticipated session to vote on the ministerial program and the cabinet."
