The Islamic Resistance (Hezbollah) announced today, Friday, that it targeted an (Israeli) army gathering on the outskirts of the town of Deir Siryan with a guided missile.
A statement issued by Hezbollah, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "in defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to the Israeli enemy's violation of the ceasefire and the attacks that targeted villages in southern Lebanon, resulting in martyrs and a number of wounded among civilians, the mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance targeted a gathering of Israeli enemy soldiers at 4:40 PM yesterday, Thursday, May 7, 2026, near the river on the outskirts of the town of Deir Siryan with a guided missile."
In addition, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted at 09:30 on Friday, 08-05-2026, a military vehicle belonging to the Israeli enemy army at Khallat al-Raj in the town of Deir Siryan with a swoop, and achieved a confirmed hit.”
