Iran announced on Friday the seizure of an oil tanker in the Gulf of Oman.
Iranian state television reported that "the Navy seized the Ocean Koi tanker in the Gulf of Oman."
It added that "the tanker was escorted to the southern Iranian coast and handed over to the judicial authorities," noting that "the violating oil tanker Ocean Koi was attempting to disrupt oil exports and harm the interests of the Iranian people."
