Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters said on Thursday that the U.S. military had violated a ceasefire.
In a statement, the Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said the U.S. military had breached the ceasefire and targeted an Iranian oil tanker and another Iranian vessel in the Strait of Hormuz.
It added that “enemy forces” also targeted another vessel entering the Strait of Hormuz opposite the port of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates, while civilian areas along the coasts of Bandar Khamir, Sirik, and Qeshm Island were subjected to U.S. air attacks in coordination with regional countries.
The statement warned that the United States and its supporters “must know that Iran will respond forcefully and without hesitation with a decisive response to any aggression.”
