The U.S. military carried out strikes on Iranian targets in the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday, Axios reported, citing a U.S. official.
The official said the strikes targeted Iranian positions in the Strait of Hormuz region, adding that the operation did not constitute a resumption of war with Iran.
