Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi affirmed on Thursday that maritime traffic will return to normal in the Strait of Hormuz, provided the war ends permanently and the embargo and sanctions imposed on Iran are lifted.
Araghchi stated in a press conference: "I believe it is essential to emphasize that maritime traffic will return to normal in the Strait of Hormuz, provided the war ends permanently and the illegal embargo and sanctions imposed on Iran are lifted."
He added, "Therefore, the path to stability lies in America's adherence to international law, not in exploiting the Security Council in a way that further complicates the situation."
