Prime Minister-designate Ali Falih al-Zaidi and former Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi emphasized on Thursday the importance of forming a government capable of continuing the implementation of reform projects.
The Prime Minister's Media Office stated in a press release received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Prime Minister-designate Ali Falih al-Zaidi met today, Thursday, with former Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi."
The statement added that "the meeting reviewed the latest developments in the country and the progress related to forming the new government."
It continued, "The importance of forming a government capable of continuing the implementation of reform and reconstruction projects and strengthening the economic recovery was emphasized, in order to fulfill the aspirations of the Iraqi people and consolidate stability throughout the country."
