The Joint Operations Command announced on Wednesday the killing of three terrorists and the destruction of two hideouts in two airstrikes in the Hamrin Mountains within the Kirkuk Operations Sector.
“Continuing our approach of pursuing the remnants of terrorism and destroying their strongholds, and based on precise intelligence from the brave men of the Military Intelligence Directorate, and under the supervision and monitoring of the Joint Operations Command’s targeting cell for three days, our heroic air force carried out two successful airstrikes at 1550 today in the Kirkuk Operations Sector – Hamrin Mountains,” said the Command in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
The statement added that “the operation resulted in the targeting and destruction of two hideouts used by terrorists for shelter and resupply, and the killing of three terrorists who were inside them.”
