Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi affirmed on Monday that the global oil supply crisis has "enormous repercussions" for the Asia-Pacific region.

Speaking in Canberra after holding talks with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, she said that the two countries would deal "urgently" with the situation to ensure the stability of energy supplies.
