Prime Minister-designate Ali Faleh al-Zaidi and the head of the Victory Coalition, Haider al-Abadi, emphasized on Sunday the necessity of unifying efforts and positions among national political forces and expediting the formation of the government.
The Prime Minister's Media Office stated in a press release received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Prime Minister-designate Ali Faleh al-Zaidi met today, Sunday, with the head of the Victory Coalition, Haider al-Abadi. "
"The meeting addressed the latest developments in the country and the progress of forming the new government. Emphasis was placed on the need to unify efforts and positions among national political forces and to expedite the formation of a government capable of consolidating stability and advancing development and economic revival projects, thus fulfilling the aspirations of the Iraqi people," the statement added.
