President Nizar Amidi emphasized on Sunday the importance of strengthening efforts to protect public funds, combat corruption, and enhance transparency in state institutions.
The Presidential Media Office stated in a press release received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "President Nizar Amidi received the head of the Federal Integrity Commission, Mohammed Ali Al-Lami, who congratulated the President on assuming his post."
"The President stressed the importance of strengthening efforts to protect public funds, combat corruption, enhance transparency in state institutions, reduce financial waste, develop financial and administrative oversight systems, and contribute to the recovery of smuggled public funds in coordination with the relevant authorities," according to the statement.
