Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf stated that reopening the Strait of Hormuz is out of the question as long as the US naval blockade continues.
Qalibaf said, "A complete ceasefire would be meaningless while the US naval blockade remains in place."
He added, "Iran's enemies did not achieve their goals through military aggression, and they will not achieve them through the blockade either."
