Syrian army resumes operation in Aleppo’s Kurdish district after ceasefire collapses

The Syrian army on Saturday urged fighters from the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to surrender as government forces resumed a military operation in a Kurdish neighbourhood of Aleppo overnight after a ceasefire between the army and SDF collapsed.
